Aggregation

The Net Optics family of Aggregation Taps provide ultra-efficient access to critical network links. The family is built on two separate products; Link Aggregator and Port Aggregator Taps. Both products combine each side of a network link and copy the aggregated data to one or more monitoring ports allowing for efficient use of monitoring tools. IT departments gain passive access to a full-duplex stream, the ability to attach redundant tools or the flexibility to capture different types of traffic from the same link or links.

Port Aggregation
Port Aggregator Taps combine traffic from one network link and copy identical traffic streams to either one or two monitoring tools. Models that support copper and fiber network links are available.

Link Aggregation
Link Aggregation Taps combine traffic from one to four network link and copy identical traffic streams to up to four monitoring tools. Models that support copper and fiber network links are available. The monitoring ports support 1Gbps SFP interfaces for added flexibility

"The Evolution of Network Security Technologies"
May 21, 2008 | Indianapolis, IN
May 22, 2008 | Montreal, Canada
May 29, 2008 | Ft.Lauderdale, FL

Martin Roesch, Author of SNORT and Founder, CTO of Sourcefire During this free, half-day seminar, SNORTŪ author and Sourcefire Founder and CTO, Martin Roesch will share why he believes network security needs to change and how he believes it will evolve. He will discuss what lies beyond IPS and why having context through real-time network security monitoring is so important. Mr. Roesch will also discuss the value of technologies such as Network Behavior Analysis (NBA), Vulnerability Assessment (VA), and Network Access Control (NAC).
This seminar will also include a demonstration of Adaptive IPS technology where users get increased network security as well as dramatically fewer false positives. Adaptive IPS leverages endpoint intelligence, aggregated by passive and targeted active scanning, to automatically apply IPS rules based on the actual assets protected on the network. *Breakfast and lunch will be provided. register now
